Preschool Ministry at The People's Church
Sunday, June 1Lesson
Crying
We don’t want any little one to have a bad first experience at The People's Church. If you have a child in your room crying, please contact someone at a Preschool Park Welcome Desk. We will try taking them for a ride in the stroller, and if nothing calms them, we will contact the parents.
Diapers
If you teach in a classroom with children who wear diapers, make sure to check and change every child’s diaper before the end
of class.
Drop off And Pick up
Please greet all children and take them from their parents at the door. For the safety of others in the room, please try to keep siblings and parents from opening and closing the doors. Greet the children with a smile and let them know how excited you are that they are here today.
Ratios
There is a list posted inside the door of the classroom stating how many children are allowed legally to enter your room during one hour. If your room is full to the legal limit, please post the “Room Closed” sign outside your door.
Security
Security is a top priority to our church and especially to parents in our ministry. Please always check security tags and match numbers before handing children over to anyone. We always choose to err on the side of caution. If a parent has lost his or her tag, please walk with the parent and child to the welcome desk where a copy of the parent’s driver’s license will be made.
T-shirts
The first Sunday of each month, we will wear our green “Preschool Park” t-shirts. If you do not have one, contact Amy Fenton.
This Week’s Lesson
If you have questions about the curriculum, contact Kimba Campbell.
